Eighteen police officers holding the ranks of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) have been transferred to different units across the country.

The transfers were made through separate notifications issued on Thursday by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Baharul Alam.

Earlier, on Wednesday, 65 senior police officials were transferred in a single move. Additionally, seven officers were transferred on Tuesday.

Wednesday’s transfer orders were issued in two separate notifications from the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

According to the notifications, officers have been transferred to Police Headquarters, Highway Police, Range DIG Offices, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), In-Service Training Centers, River Police, Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), and the Special Branch (SB).

On Tuesday, seven Assistant Commissioners (AC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) were transferred via an office order signed by DMP Commissioner Md. Sajjat Ali.
