DHAKA: Reckless driving took another life in the capital when a bus ran over a passerby at Baniachar under Sutrapur Thana.
The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam, 35, son of Abdul Khaleq of Matuail Uttarpara under the police station.
“While he was crossing the road, a speeding bus ran him down and drove away,” police quoting witnesses said.
Police recovered and sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue. A case was registered.
