DHAKA: A private company man was found dead in his closed bedroom in city’s Monipuripara area on Wednesday night, and the cause of his death still remained clouded.

Police said the deceased, Liton Gomez, 32, hailed from Mativanga village in the costal district of Patuakhali, was working for a private company.

“He did not attend office duty on the day and the door of his room was found closed at around 8pm,” police quoted his roommate Tofazzal Hossain as telling them.

Sub-Inspector Shafiqur Rahman of Tejgaon police station said they broke open the door and recovered the body from the room.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
No case was filed yet.
