JU halls to remain closed from Sept 8

SAVAR: The residential halls of the oft-troubled Janhangirnagar University will remain closed for seven days from September 8.

The JU authorities took the decision Wednesday and asked students to vacate the dorms for the weeklong shutdown.   

Under the decision, the residents were asked to leave their dormitories by September 8.

The JU authorities declared vacation for Janmasthami, holy Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr from September 1 to 16.
