DHAKA: State Minister for Power Enamul Haque urged the power distribution companies to invest their profits in improving distribution system and ensuring quality services.
“You can improve the quality of services using the profit you made. You can improve the distribution system and repair distribution lines,” he said.
The State Minister was addressing a discussion meeting on “Improving the Quality of Capital’s Power Supply System and Customer Service”.
Dhaka Power Development Company (DPDC) and DESCO’s engineers association organised the discussion at Diploma Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital.
DPDC Chairman Mahbub-Ul-Alam Khan, DESCO Chairman Shahjahan Siddique, Religion Affairs secretary of Awami League Advocate Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Managing Director of DPDC Mohammad Abdus Sobhan, acting Managing Director of DESCO Mohammad Monjur Rahman and DPDC Diploma Pokousholi Samity President SM Ilius also spoke.
