DHAKA: The US Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on September 5 and 7 in observance of the US Labour Day and Shab-e-Quadr.

A press release Thursday said this closure includes the Consular Section and the American Center’s Archer K. Blood Library and Student Advising Center of the embassy.

“However, emergency services for American citizens will be available and they are requested to call 8855500 and ask for the duty officer,” it said.
