DHAKA : A traditional rowing competition will be held in Kalihati upazila of Tangail district on September 13 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The competition will begin in Kumri Beel at 10 am under the auspices of Shingna Samajkalyan Jubo Sangha, said a press release.

In cooperation with Walton and Cute companies, Bangladesh Rowing Federation is patronizing the boat race.

A total of 70 teams from different areas of the country will take part in the competition.
