MANIKGANJ: An 11-year-old boy was crushed under the wheels of a pick-up van near Aricha ghat here Sunday morning.

The deceased was named as Al-Amin, hailed from Satghar Teota village at Shibaloy upazila.

Sources said that the pick-up van ran over Amin at around 10 am, leaving him seriously injured.

He was rushed to Utholi Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
