TANGAIL : Four people were killed as a cement-laden truck fell into a roadside ditch at Dhala Tengor in Kalihati upazila Friday morning.

Police said the northern region-bound truck from Dhaka tumbled into the ditch as its driver lost his control over steering after one of its tyres deflated, killing three on the spot and injuring one.

The injured died at Tangail General Hospital.

The identity of the dead could not be known immediately.
