DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Thursday rejected the case filed against Jute and Textiles Minister Latif Siddiqui for asking to kill someone who will call hartal.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Hasibul Haq passed the order saying that the plaintiff doesn’t call hartal so he has no right to file the case over the matter.
Earlier in the day, Supreme Court Advocate Kamrul Islam filed the case.
The case statement read that on August 16, in his speech, Latif Siddiqui asked Chhatra League activists to kill someone who will call hartal.
