City Juba League leader killed

DHAKA: Miscreants chopped to death a leader of Juba League, the youth wing of ruling Awami League, in capital’s Mirpur area on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Shah Ali Roki, president of Juba league’s ward no. 53 unit in the city.

Sources said miscreants chopped Roki indiscriminately with lethal weapons, leaving him injured critically.

Later, locals rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
