Savar: Eight shops were gutted in a fire at a Supermarket in Savar Thursday.
At least 10 people were injured while dousing the fire that originated from electric short circuit at a shop of the market around 11 am and soon spread to adjacent shops, firefighters said.
On information, a unit of firefighters rushed in and doused the flames with the help of locals.
Businessmen claimed the loss could com to Tk 50 lakh.
