The coronavirus (Covid-19) death toll has reached 5,46,791 as 1,19,57,736 people have been infected worldwide till Wednesday afternoon (July 8, Bangladesh Time). 

A total of 69,04,182 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to latest data from worldometer.

A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 30,97,084 people have been infected with the virus. Of them, 1,33,972 people have died and 13,54,863 people have recovered. Active cases are 16,08,249.

In Brazil, 16,74,655 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 66,868 patients have died and 11,17,922 recovered.

In UK, 2,86,349 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 44,391 patients have died.

In Italy, 2,41,956 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 34,899 people have died and 1,92,815 people have recovered. 

In Mexico, 2,68,008 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 32,014 died and 1,63,646 recovered from the disease.

In France, 1,68,810 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 29,933 patients have died and 77,655 patients have recovered.

In Spain, 2,99,210 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 28,392 have died in the country. 

In India, 7,44,006 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 20,653 people have died and 4,57,058 people have recovered from the disease.

In Iran, 2,45,688 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 11,931 patients have died and 2,07,000 patients have recovered. 

In Peru, 3,09,278 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 10,952 have died and 2,00,938 have recovered.

In Russia, 6,94,230 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 10,494 have died and 4,63,880 have recovered.

In Belgium, 62,123 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 9,776 people have died and 17,138 people have recovered from the disease.

In Germany, 1,98,355 people have been affected with Covid-19 disease. Of them, 9,103 patients have died and 1,82,700 people have recovered.

In Canada, 1,06,167 people have been infected from the disease. Of them, 8,711 people have died and 69,883 have recovered.

In China, 83,572 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 4,634 people have died and 78,548 have recovered. Active cases are 390.

In Bangladesh, 1,72,134 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 2,197 people died and 80,838 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
