DHAKA:  BNP joint general secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged that law enforcing agencies are assisting the men of student and youth wings of ruling Awami League in recent attacks at BNP leader-activist’s residence.

The BNP leader made the disclosure while talking with reporters in Party’s central office at city’s Nayapaltan on Wednesday.

He said, “Miscreants hurled at least 25 cocktails near the residence of Shecchashebok Dal President Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel on Tuesday night. Ruling party backed miscreants continued arson, cocktails blast and threats but law enforcing agencies remained silent though they are active enough to arrest BNP leaders-activists,

“Awami League has been plotting to foil our peaceful hartal and protests by torching vehicles, cocktail blasts throughout the country,” he also alleged.

Rizvi also expressed confidence as the countrymen will thwart the plot by supporting BNP.

He also criticized Sajeeb Wazed Joy for his recent remarks over opposition.
