DHAKA: The members of law enforcement agency held Habibur Rashid Habib, General Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, student wing of opposition BNP, on Sunday.

A team of detective branch (DB) of police held the JCD leader from his residence in city’s Shantinagar area around 2.30pm.

Dhaka metropolitan police (DMP) Assistant Commissioner (Media) Abu Yusuf confirmed the matter to banglanews.

However, the allegations against Habib couldn’t be known immediately.
