DHAKA: Opposition BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Monday categorically said the government is going to hold polls under all-party government for implementing blueprint forcibly.
He also alleged that the government is creating situation for unilateral election bypassing the opinion of the people.
The spokesperson for the party came up with the allegation while talking to journalists in the noon at BNP Nayapaltan office.
Rizvi also alleged that the government has increased torture level to opposition.
He further added that the government is trying to kill Swechhasebak Dal leader Sapu and Chhatra Dal leader Habib.
The BNP leader demanded immediate release of them.
He criticized HM Ershad as he urged BNP to take part in polls and said, “He (Ershad) is not a patriot as he is not Bangladeshi. So, he speaks topsy-turvy.”
