SATKHIRA: District Jamaat-e-Islam called half-day hartal for Thursday protesting killing of a Jamaat activist.

The hartal will be enforced from 6:00am to 12:00 noon.

District Jamaat publicity secretary and former lawmaker Abdul Khaleque Mondol confirmed the matter to banglanews on Wednesday.

However, primary school certificate (PSC) examination will be out of the purview of the hartal.

Allude to Jamaat activist Shamsur Rahman was shot dead by police early Wednesday.
