DHAKA: Bangladesh Chhatra League central committee dissolved its Dhaka College unit BCL committee on Saturday.
 
Apart from this, seven BCL leaders, including president and general secretary, of the committee were also expelled for violating discipline of the party.

The disclosure came from a press release of Chhatra League central committee signed by its president and general secretary.

A student was killed and two other sustained bullet injury in Chhatra League infighting at Dhaka College in the capital on Friday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Rakib Al Faruk, a final-year student of Zoology Department.

Sources said that supporters of Chhatra League president Sakibul Hasan Swin and general secretary Fuad Hasan Pallab locked into a fierce clash centering a brawl.

At one stage, they blasted cocktails and locked into gunfight, leaving three injured.

One of them succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
