DHAKA: Blockaders torched a passenger bus of Bandhu Paribahan in front of Karnaphuli Garden City at Kakrail in the city on Sunday night.

The incident took place around 8:30pm.

Confirming the matter, Ramna Thana sub-inspector Azizul Islam told banglanews that some blockaders torched the bus and fled the scene in a hurry.

Local people doused the fire in a frantic effort, he added.
