DHAKA: Three BNP men, including two Jubo Dal leaders, were killed in separate violence across the country during blockade enforced by 18-party alliance on Monday.

Natore: A Jubo Dal activist was shot dead and 10 others sustained bullet injuries in a clash between Awami League (AL) and BNP, during hartal hours in the district in the morning.
The deceased was identified as Sujon, 28, son of Salamat of Kanaikhali area of the district.
Bogra: A Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal activist was chopped to death by miscreants near Chaksutrapur area of the district.
The deceased was identified as district unit Jubo Dal activist Imran Sheikh, 29, son of Kalu Sheikh from Chaksutrapur area.
Chapainawabganj: A BNP activist was killed as Awami League supporters blasted cocktail at Shibganj upazila of the district on Monday.
After the incident, local administration imposed section 144 in the upazila to avert further clash.
The deceased was identified as Rubel, a driver by profession and BNP activist.
The blockade was enforced from 6:00am last Monday to press home their demand for non-party caretaker government during the polls-time, cancellation of the polls-schedule and release of the top BNP leaders.
Meanwhile, due to the blockade, the rail and road communications around the country is being seriously obstructed.
Blockaders tried to sabotage, vandalize and arson at all the main points of important highways to obstruct the haulage.

Five people including an activist of Chhatra Shibir, an activist of Jubo Dal and three pedestrians were killed in separate violence in Dhaka, Jhenidah, Pabna, Chittagong and Bogra on Saturday, the first day of 72-hour blockade.
