CHIITAGONG: A man was killed when a covered van hit a roadside tree after being petrol bomb like object hurled by blockaders in Saltgola area of the port city early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Mahbub, 30, the driver of the readymade garments-loaded covered van.
The incident took place at around 1:30am Tuesday that left the vehicle burnt completely.
Port city’s EPZ thana officer-in charge Abul Mansur confirmed it to banglanews.
