DHAKA: The law enforcement agency arrested younger son and brother-in-law of Quader Mollah who was executed Thursday night for committing crimes against humanity in the country’s liberation war in 1971.

The arrestees are identified as Mollah’s son Hasan Moudud and brother-in-law Mir Razibul Hasan.

Quader Mollah’s elder son Hasan Jamil said law enforcers arrested 7-8 people including Hasan Moudud and Mir Razibul Hasan on Thursday night when they were taking preparation to go to Faridpur with his father’s body.

Ramna Thana officer-in-charge Mashiur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

They were arrested for the sake of security, he added.
