Home state minister’s Pabna house bombed

PABNA: Miscreants hurled petrol bombs at the house of State minister for Home Shamsul Haque Tuku in Dilalpur area of the district town early Saturday.

The attack took place at around 4:00am.

Witnesses said the petrol bombs ensued a fire at a room of second floor of the building which was rented by regional passport office.

A table and a computer and a registrar book burnt to ashes in the fire.

Later, locals and office staffs doused the fire.

Pabna Sadar thana officer-in-Charge Kazi Haniful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Additional police were deployed in the area.

But Shamsul Haque Tuku claimed that Jamaat-Shibir men launched the attack. Law enforcers were asked to arrest the culprits.
