DHAKA: The rally of Awami League at Suhrawardu Uddyan, which was scheduled to be arranged on Tuesday as a part of Victory Day Programme, was postponed.

This was disclosed in a statement on Monday night, signed by party’s office secretary Abdus Sobhan.

The statement said due to various programmes of pro-liberation forces in Suhrawardy Uddyan on Tuesday afternoon, Awami League postponed the rally declared earlier.

But, when the programme would be arranged again was not disclosed.
