DHAKA: State Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Advocate Quamrul Islam on Tuesday said Awami League does not care any foreign threats.
The ruling Awami League lawmaker came up with the assertion while addressing a programme at the National Press Club in the noon.
He said, “The verdicts of war crimes will be executed by existing law rather than any threat or recommendation of foreign diplomats or countries.”
“There are two major groups in the country. One of them is Awami League, which was established with the spirit of Liberation War and another is anti-liberation force. People have to opt for one of them,” he added.
Quamrul claimed that the BNP and Jamaat are enforcing movements, including hartal and blockade, to protect the war criminals.
