DHAKA: Jatiya Party’s Kazi Zafar has been elected as new chairman and Golam Maseeh as secretary general unanimously.

The decision was taken at a meeting presided over by Kazi Zafar at national press club on Friday afternoon.

Kazi Zafar said that fearing any threat we won’t step backward. We will go forward with our continuous movement.

Expressing solidarity with 18-party’s movement he also said that our ongoing movement will continue for the demand of election under caretaker government.

Meanwhile, Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh president Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, BNP standing committee member Lieutenant General (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab, Krishak Shramik Janata League president Banga Bir Kader Siddique were present in the conference.
