DHAKA: Opposition BNP lawmaker Shammi Akter was picked up from city’s Gulshan area on Tuesday night.

Law enforcers held her in front of BNP Chairperson Gulshan office around 8:35pm, said a spot account of the incident.

Sources added that she was taken to Gulshan Thana.
