Dipu Moni urges not to instigate

DHAKA: Ruling Awami League Joint General Secretary Dipu Moni on Monday urged BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia not to deliver any instigating speech to the people.

The former foreign minister came up with the plea in a press conference at Awami League Dhanmondi office in the afternoon.

Dipu Moni said, “We feel shame to the people for Khaleda Zia’s speech. We strongly condemn the Sunday’s statement of the opposition leader.”

She also urged Khaleda saying not to ink black point in politics in the name of democracy and give wrong message to people about politicians.

Dipu Moni alleged that to stop January 5 parliament elections, BNP-Jamaat are trying to foil the country’s democratic process.

She also urged 18-party alliance leaders not to give any instigating speech.
