The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) imposed travel restrictions on five former lawmakers and their families, according to an ACC statement released today (Dec 12).
The decision came a day after the new commission took office, with Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen appointed as the ACC chairman.
The five former lawmakers affected by the travel ban are Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nasim from Feni-1, Nur Nabi Chowdhury Shawn from Bhola-3, Abu Zahir from Hobiganj-3, HM Ibrahim from Noakhali-1, and Nur Uddin Chowdhury Nayan from Lakhipur-2.
