DHAKA:  Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is yet to get any permission for the probable mass rally at Demra on May 17.

A mass rally of Party Chairperson Khaleda Zia is likely to be held at city’s Jatrabari-Demra area on Saturday.

On the other hand, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) didn’t give permission yet BNP to hold protest rally in the area.

Acting Secretary General of BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is likely to brief the media at the party’s Nayapaltan office in the city on Friday morning.

He might talk on the sensational Narayanganj seven-murder, the sources added.
