DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia visited the ailing Jatiya Party chairman and former Prime Minister Kazi Jafar Ahmed at United Hospital in capital’s Gulshan area early Monday.

Khaleda went to the hospital at around 12:10am and inquired about his present physical condition.

Meanwhile, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Joint Secretary General Salauddin Ahmed, Joynal Abedin Faruk and others accompanied Khaleda Zia.

Later, the BNP chief left the hospital around 12:18am.

Earlier on May 11, Kazi Jafar admitted to the hospital as he became injured after fell down at bathroom in his residence.
