DHAKA: Jatiya Party (fraction) chairman Kazi Zafar Ahmed, also former Prime Minister, will be taken to Australia on Friday night for better treatment.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Shayrul Kabir Khan, BNP Chairperson Media Wing member, said that a Singapore airlines flight will carry Kazi Zafar.

Earlier on May 11, Kazi Jafar was admitted to a city hospital after he sustained injury falling down in bathroom at his residence and later he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of United Hospital at capital’s Gulshan area on Monday noon in critical condition.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia visited the ailing Zafar.
