Fakhrul blames Hasina for Zia murder! BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam

DHAKA: One day after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina blames Ziaur Rahman for Sheikh Mujib murder; BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam alleged that PM Hasina might be involved in Zia killing.

He came up with the allegation in a press briefing at party’s Naya Paltan central party office around 12:00 noon Tuesday.

He also claimed that Sheikh Hasina returned to Bangladesh in on May 17 of 1981 and 13 days later Ziaur Rahman was assassinated brutally.

This proves that she might have connection with the assassination, he added.

He also said that usually we give a draft of budget for the fiscal year but this year we have not served any draft to this illegal government.

Fakhrul criticized the statement of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and said that “Zia can not be accused in the killing Bangabanshu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for being an Army chief.”

He further said that Hasina always delivers inconsistent speeches.
