DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia held a meeting with the leaders of BNP-led 19-party alliance in the city Wednesday.

She sat with the leaders at her political office in Gulshan of the city at 9:00pm.

Leaders of all parties of the alliance including Liberal Democratic Party chief Col (retd) Oli Ahmed, e Jamaat-e-Islami executive council member Abdul Halim, and Bangladesh Jatiya Party-BJP chairman Barrister Andalib Rahman Partho, attended the meeting.

Party sources said that the meeting was called to discus the issue of joining of Samyabadi Dal to the alliance and the present political situations of the country.
