DHAKA: BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged government is trying to hide all wrongdoings conducted by Rapid Action Battalion’s (RAB). 

“Government wants to conceal RAB’s illegal activities. For this, it has withdrawn Brahmanbaria Senior Judicial Magistrate Nazmun Nahar after delivering an order to take action against the elite force,” he alleged. 

Rizvi came up with the allegation at a press conference at party’s Nayapaltan office on Saturday morning.  

“Government is repressing BNP by the law enforcers so that the party can’t stand against the government’s illegal and corrupted activities,” he alleged.    

He further said the only way for government to stay in power is killing, force disappearances and abduction to BNP leaders and activists.
