RANGPUR: Central BNP has declared new committees for the district and the city BNP on Monday after 10 years.

In a notice, signed by acting BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Alhajj Emdadul Haque Bharasa was made as president and Saiful Islam as general secretary.

Freedom Fighter Mozaffor Hossain was made president of Rangpur Metropolitan BNP and Samsuzzaman Samu as general secretary.

Some nine persons were selected as vice-presidents, three as joint secretaries and Alhajj Aminul Islam Ranga was made as organizing secretary of the district unit BNP.
