DHAKA: Jatiya Party vice chairman, also the leader of opposition in the parliament Rawson Ershad categorically said that proposed budget is of huge layouts and there should be kept scope for employment.

She came up with the assertion while addressing a press conference at Jatiya Sangsad media centre in the capital on Tuesday morning.

The opposition leader also said that the proposed budget for fiscal year 2014-15 would be better if it can create employment opportunities.

Rawson added that the implementation of the budget is not possible without good governance.

She again said, “We want to cooperate with the government to implement the budget.”

Opposition chief whip Tazul Islam Chowdhury, Member of the parliament (MP) Fakhrul Imam, Hazi Elias, and Rawshan Ara Mannan were present among others in the conference.  

Earlier on June 5, Finance Minister AMA Muhith placed the budget for fiscal year 2014-15.
