KUSTIA: Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif opined for taking BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on remand to reveal the mystery of former President Ziaur Rahman murder.

“Who is the killer of Zia can be known if his wife Khaleda is remanded,” he said.

He made the remarks while talking in a view exchange meeting with Al leaders at his residence in Kushtia.

Indicating Tarique Rahman, Mahbubul Alam said if they want to know about who is the murderer of the former President, Khaleda, not Sheikh Hasina, should be sent on remand. Then the truth would come to light.

Regarding the demonstration preparation of BNP, Hanif said the country has been moving fast as it is fulfilled in food, education and health condition improved.

The people will reject the protest programme as they don’t want it, he added.

District AL president Taizal Ali Khan, Sadar Thana AL General Secretary Akteruzzaman Biswas, among others, were present in the programme.
