DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged President Abdul Hamid betrayed the nation refusing the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon’s proposal to give mid-term elections.  

He made the allegation while addressing a workshop at a city hotel on Saturday morning.

The senior leader of the BNP urged the President not do works for his party rather works for the nation neutrally.
