DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia alleged that country is passing its trying time by the misrule of Awami League government. 

Khaleda made the allegation through a press release signed by BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Wednesday on the occasion of International Day against Torture. 

In the press release, Khaleda said the government tortured, jailed and killed hundreds of BNP leaders and activists across the country after assuming office. 

Women and children are being tortured by the government supported people all over the country, it added.

The former premier also paid her deepest sympathy to the all tortured people of the world including Bangladesh.
