Khaleda didn’t complained: Fakhrul

DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir claimed that party chairperson Khaleda Zia didn’t complained to Sushma Swaraj against anyone.

He came up with the claim at party’s Nayaplatan office strongly protesting the remark by Awami League leaders, who said Khaleda Zia cried and complained to foreign masters.

Mentioning the meeting between Khaleda and Sushma as a political meeting, Mirza Fakhrul told that when party chairperson was the opposition leader, Sushma was also the opposition deputy leader at her house.

At that time Fakhrul alleged that there is no democratic movement in the country.

Earlier, ruling Awami League leaders pointed at Khaleda ZIa's meeting with the Indian External Affairs Minister and urged her to stop complaining to the visiting foreign guests.

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday left Bangladesh wrapping her 3-day official visit.

During her visit she met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and also the opposition leader Rowshan Ershad.
