DHAKA: Police detained three suspected members of banned Islami outfit Hizb-ut-Tahrir Bangladesh from Hazipara Jamme Mosque in North Badda in city on Friday.

The arrestees are Nayan, 29, Rajon, 25 and Nazmul, 19.

MA Jalil, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badda Police Station, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the law enforcers detained the trio when they were distributing the leaflet of their party after Jummah prayer of the mosque.

Police interrogating them in the police station, he added.
