BNP won’t join JS session Thursday

DHAKA: Main opposition party BNP will not join the Jatiya Sangsad session that begins on Thursday afternoon.

Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farooque confirmed the matter to banglanews at around 8:30pm Wednesday.

He said that the party would not join parliament on the first day of the session.

On the other hand, BNP acting general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told journalists BNP parliamentary party would decide about the joining in JS session.

Earlier till Wednesday evening, a positive sign was seemed about the BNP’s joining in JS session and some BNP MPs hinted that BNP may join in the session.
