JHENAIDAH: Police in a drive arrested Kaliganj Chhatra Shibir Secretary from College Para area of the district early Monday.

The detainee was identified as Ariz Ali, son of Rayhan Biswas.

Kaliganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Liakot Hossain told banglanews, “Acting on a tip off police held him from a house at around 04:00am.”

Jhenaidah Shibir president Ibnul Parvej, district Shibir president Sheikh Shahjalal Hossain and Kaliganj Thana Shibir President demanded immediate release of Ariz Ali.
