BARISAL: Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has called half-day hartal for Monday at Hijla upazila of the district in protest against the attack on BNP leasers.
Office Secretary of Barisal (North) BNP Advocate Nurul Alam Razu confirmed the mater to banglanews on Sunday.
The BNP leader alleged that the leaders and activists of the party were attacked several times on Saturday night.
He added: “We called half-day hartal in protest against the attack and imposing section 144.”
