CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir called half-day hartal for Thursday in five districts of the division protesting arrest of 34 leaders and activists.

The hartal will be enforced from 6:00am to 2:00pm.

District (South) Shibir publicity secretary Giash Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On the other hand, around 2 thousands police forces were deployed in the city on Wednesday night to avert any kinds of sabotage ahead of hartal.
