Khaleda leaves Dhaka for Khulna

DHAKA: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, head of 16-party alliance, has left Dhaka from Gulshan residence on Saturday afternoon for Khulna where she will address a grand on Sunday.

A number of senior leaders of the party, including vice chairman Selima Rahman, standing committee member Mirza Abbas, vice chairman Sadek Hossain Khoka, are accompanying the opposition leader.

She will hold night at Jessore Circuit House from where she will leave for Khulna on Sunday noon.

It is part of her eight rallies in divisional cities and a district town to boost up support in favour of the opposition’s demand for restoration of the caretaker government system.

Banglanews correspondent reports that supporters, leaders and activists are seen standing on the roads to welcome their leader on her way to Jessore where she will hold night before going to Khulna city.
