CHITTAGONG: The match between West Indies and Bangladesh Under-19 cricket teams, scheduled to hold on Sunday at Jahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, has been shifted to Monday as the visitors refused to play the match over security concern.
The decision came from after a meeting of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and officials of law enforcement agencies with West Indies team officials on Sunday morning.
BCB director Akram Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
The second match of the seven-match series was scheduled to hold at 9:00am but the West Indies players did not agree to come out of the hotel.
