DHAKA: Brazilian starlet Neymar kept up his recent goal scoring run in a hard-fought 2-1 win over Villarreal. As a result, Barcelona remains in the `La Liga` driving seat and extended their lead over Real Madrid to five points.

Tata Martino`s side was able to overcome the challenge posed by the league`s surprise package, but only by the skin of its teeth, and not without being given a few scares by the Villarreal, reports marca.com.

Both of Neymar`s goals came during spells when Villarreal looked on top. The first came from a penalty that was disputed by the visitors, while the second capped off a superb team move.
