DHAKA: Cristiano Ronaldo has officially opened his museum in Madeira (a Portuguese archipelago), which offers a journey through his career based on the various individual and team prizes he has won.
The Real Madrid forward told the press that there would always be a space for `La Décima` at the sight, adding that he hopes to lift the trophy this year.
The exhibition features 150 pieces of silverware in all, from the first trophy he won – in 1993, with Andorinha – to the Ballon d`Or and the Pichichi (the award for the top goal scorer in the Spanish league). It also includes replicas of the Champions League he picked up with Manchester United and the `La Liga` and `Copa del Rey` crowns he has secured so far at Real Madrid, reports marca.com.
"I`m proud to have a museum in the city where I was born. I wouldn`t want to pick out any trophy in particular; they`re all very special and I owe them to all my teammates. Here`s hoping there are many more to come", the Portugal star exclaimed.
